Hill Cross Furniture are proud to have supplied for Muse, Yarm. We supplied a range of loose seating, tables, bespoke fixed seating and bespoke blinds to this popular, brand new venue. Muse is a continental café and is owned and run by celebrity Michelin Bib Gourmand Award chef, Marcus Bennett. Alongside his business partners, Marcus also runs the prestigious Bay Horse in Hurworth, which even received a visit from Prince Harry himself.
We supplied the venue with the rustic, yet contemporary Croce Side Chair. The Croce, meaning cross in Italian, was finished in a medium oak and featured an upholstered seat, adding extra comfort and style. The chairs were upholstered in a range of modern Cover-tex grey and embroidered green and white Sunbury Lalique Pea fabrics.
The matching Croce Bar Stool also finished in Medium Oak and upholstered in the grey, were supplied to accompany the bar area.
Over seven and a half metres of bespoke fixed seating was designed, built and installed within the venue. The fixed seating featured a plain seat with wide fluted back and was upholstered in a striking Warwick Matteo Forest fabric, wonderfully complimenting the side chairs and adding to the continental, rustic feel of the interior.
Hill Cross also supplied bespoke roman blinds made in matching Cover-tex Spirito Grey with a Warwick Matteo Forest border.
Thick, solid character oak table tops, finished in a medium oak were supplied in a range of shapes and sizes to create variation. The table tops were coupled with a range of Continental table bases in black cast iron.
Muse is open daily from 9am for breakfast, lunch and dinner and here at Hill Cross, it is already amongst our local favourite places to eat.
