Handlery Hotel reopens following renovation

    The Handlery Hotel & Resort in San Diego has reopened for business following a three month multi-million dollar renovation, which upgraded the property and its conference facilitiesThe hotel closed in November 2009 and reopened on 19 February 2010.

    The three-star accomodation house 217 guestrooms which have all been upgraded with new custom marble top furniture, carpeting, wall covering, drapery and technology.

    The Handlery family built the hotel in 1954 and continues to operate it, having also refursbisged the common areas and event space. This included new carpeting and wall coverings, latest technology and artwork.

    The exterior of the hotel was repainted and the pool area was resurfaced to highlight the redesigned landscape.
