    IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) has announced the opening of the Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County, following a conversion from an independent brand, The Hotel Hanford. A 224-room property in the heart of Orange County, the Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa is located adjacent to famed shopping destination South Coast Plaza, and in close proximity to John Wayne Airport, Disneyland®, iconic beaches, golf courses, museums and sports arenas. The Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County features contemporary design touches by CRDS, Inc., that reflect a stylish and relaxed Southern California vibe. For meetings and events, the hotel has 9,000 square feet of meeting space and nearly 20 different venue options, including both indoor and outdoor spaces, and can cater to almost any event style or size. The hotel offers a signature comprehensive meetings program that ensures a seamless planning process and an exceptional meeting experience consisting of three key components: a Two-Hour Response Guarantee, a Crowne Meetings Director and a Daily Meetings Debrief.

    The Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County boasts 224 guestrooms, including six suites. Guests can take advantage of a variety of amenities, including complimentary high-speed Internet access, in-room dining, rainwater showers and ample parking.

    Additionally, the hotel has hired a new Executive Chef, Ruben Gonzalez, and will be undergoing a restaurant concept and menu change in the upcoming months.

    The Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County is independently owned by Westport Capital Partners and Urban Common LLC and operated by Brighton Management under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
