Bellstar Hotels & Resorts is thrilled to announce the opening of One Wellness & Spa at Solara Resort & Spa. The new wellness facility elevates Bellstar’s flagship luxury Canmore property to the leading wellness destination resort in the Canadian Rockies. Owned and operated by local resident and physiotherapist Hugh Simpson, One Wellness & Spa was founded after Simpson witnessed the destructive effects of extreme stress and pressure on the lives of two close friends. With a revolutionary concept striving to change the traditional ‘passive’ spa experience into an integrated exploration of personal wellness, dedicated to long-term transitions. Programs, packages and services are layered, focusing on the needs, preferences and objectives of the guest.

The Pathways to Engagement process is One Wellness and Spa’s signature experience menu. Guests choose a Pathway that best represents a current need – Sleep, Release, Clearing, Transition or Joy – and then they are led through a process of needs assessment, massage, specialized aromatherapy, custom breath work and guided imagery that best reflects his or her chosen Pathway. The aim is to support and inspire guests to continue along their pathway to wellness and health beyond the treatment room. More traditional spa services are also offered by a team of talented technicians, using the best possible products and ingredients: a Skin Fitness facial or Moisture Drench facial will leave skin nourished, glowing and radiant, while a stimulating Lemongrass Mimosa body scrub will help restore skin’s health and elasticity. Other services offered by the spa include personal training, fitness, Pilates, life strategy coaching sessions, nutrition related services and physiotherapy.

One Wellness & Spa is located at Solara Resort & Spa, Canmore’s most elegant destination resort. This deluxe property features fully furnished suites complete with gourmet kitchens, fireplace and living room. Fresh mountain air and breathtaking views of the majestic Rocky Mountains can be viewed from every window, inspiring guests to renew and escape from the routine of every day life. On site amenities include hot pools, fitness centre and an expansive conference and meeting space with a 96-seat theatre perfect for corporate events and weddings.

Perched on the edge of in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Canmore is nurturing its reputation as Canada’s leading health and wellness destination. With a unique mountain-culture, growing culinary offerings and artisan stores, as well as its proximity to pristine wilderness and world-class selection of exciting mountain sports, Canmore’s appeal continues to build.
