Visitors flocking to view the latest film releases at the luxurious, newly built Everyman Leeds will be welcomed by an impressive bespoke navy and gold pinstripe carpet from Lano Flooring Solutions, some 2000m2 of which now weaves through the floors of the foyer and cinema screens bringing style and a sense of occasion to the venue interiors. As a brand intent on transforming an everyday trip to the cinema into a unique film viewing experience, Everyman Leeds required an elegant yet high performance carpet for the new location. The natural choice was to once more look to the faultless service and limitless design possibilities provided by Lano Flooring Solutions, having previously supplied two other Everyman cinema venues with stylish and quality carpet.

To create a luxurious ambience for the venue, a striking pinstripe design was settled upon for a smart look with classic cinematic style, bringing a touch of Hollywood glamour to the contemporary setting. With endless design possibilities offered by the in-house creative consultancy service at Lano Flooring Solutions, the exact pattern and rich colourways needed to perfectly compliment the décor of Everyman Leeds was transformed into a high quality 10-row Axminster woven carpet with exceptional levels of performance and durability.

With a dense construction in 80% wool and 20% polyamide, the bespoke carpet offers a supremely comfortable feel underfoot and noise reduction with acoustic absorption properties. Classed as suitable for heavy commercial usage, the supremely hardwearing carpet is easy to maintain to ensure a beautiful and comfortable setting for the cinema visitors for years to come.

“Everyman Leeds wanted to create a unique environment which felt special, luxurious and exciting and so only a custom carpet design would do,” comments Rick Hudson of Fusion Design and Architecture, responsible for specifying the carpet. “The end product delivered on all aspects of the brief; quality, flexibility of design, and competitive pricing.”
