At the end of February the Haven sofa by Paola Lenti was awarded the Good Design Award 2009, one of the most recognised awards for excellence and innovation in the design field.Haven won the award for the innovative use of materials, its lightness and the play in contrast between the structural shape and the asymmetry of the seat.
The tubular metal structure is covered with a high tech self bearing weave, developed by Paola Lenti in conjunction with industry experts and is the result of the company’s continuous research in the field of innovating high tech materials.
The upholstery weave lets light, air and water pass through contributing to the sense of lightness and permeability that makes Haven perfect for outdoor lounging.
Haven can be produced in the colours ‘cemento’ and ‘grafite’, back and seat cushions suitable for outdoor use can be upholstered in a wide range of fabrics from the Paola Lenti collection.
