The Brit List Awards
In seven years, the Brit List Awards has grown into one of the key events in the hospitality and design calendar – and 2024’s event was perhaps the best yet! See for yourself below…
The Brit List Awards campaign, which is powered by Hotel Designs, celebrates the leading interiors designers, architects, hoteliers and suppliers operating in Britain. On 6 November, at London’s iconic Ministry of Sound, the sold-out 2024 campaign came to a colourful climax when The Brit List 2024 was released and this year’s winners were announced by Hotel Designs publisher Katy Phillips and Editor Sophie Harper.
Earlier this year, submissions from architects, designers, hoteliers, and suppliers, were collated and given to the 2024 judging panel to whittle down to a shortlist of nominees for both The Brit List and the the individual awards across 13 categories. The shortlist was revealed at the event’s launch party at BYRD, Hart Shoreditch on 12 September in association with Crosswater.
The Brit List Awards 2024 was attended by more than 600 industry guests, who were wowed by unique entertainment from contortionists and burlesque performers, as well as two live DJ sets, and an electronic lighting and music display before getting to find out who the top 25 interior designers, architects, and hoteliers had made it into The Brit List and attend the awards ceremony for the individual award winners across 13 categories.
A hugely successful event, the whole team is thrilled and delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response from the attending guests.
Details will be released in the coming months for the 2025 campaign, which will be held once more at Ministry of Sound on 5 November 2025.

April to July – time to get nominating/applying
Nominations/applications are open for several months for the industry to get nominating and applying for The Brit List Awards 2025. It is FREE to apply/nominate yourself or anyone else for the 13 categories. Submissions close at the end of July.
August – your fate is left in our judges’ hands…
Once all the nominations/applications are in, we start the in-depth judging process. Our judges have been hand-selected and together will harness their wealth of knowledge and experience in order to select this year’s individual winners. The top 25 entries in the interior design, architecture and hospitality categories will be profiled in The Brit List 2025, Hotel Designs’ annual publication that references the top 75 most influential individuals in British design, architecture and hospitality. This publication will be handed out to the masses at the awards ceremony in November.
September – shortlist is announced and the suspense builds
If you have been shortlisted for The Brit List Awards 2025, you will have been notified and also name-dropped in Hotel Designs’ big announcement. In addition, shortlisted designers, architects, and hoteliers, will be offered a complimentary ticket to attend the awards ceremony*, which takes place on 5 November 2025.
5 November – it’s time to celebrate!
Get your glad rags ready and your favourite jacket pressed, for we are preparing our biggest and most extravagant awards ceremony to date! The winners of The Brit List Awards 2025 will be unveiled at the iconic music venue, Ministry of Sound on 5 November. Come dressed and ready to party (and to impress) – we’re not doing the whole ‘sit down dinner’ affair. Instead, we’re hosting the mother of all parties to celebrate our industry’s finest being together under one roof.
