What are The Brit List Awards?

The Brit List Awards, powered by Hotel Designs, is an annual celebration of excellence in British and international hospitality and design. Recognising top interior designers, architects, hoteliers, and suppliers, the event honours innovation, sustainability, and standout talent across 13 award categories.

Now in its 8th year, The Brit List Awards has become a cornerstone of the industry calendar. The 2025 ceremony will take place on Wednesday 5th November at London’s iconic Ministry of Sound, under the bold theme ‘Take a Walk on the Wild Side’. Expect immersive entertainment, dazzling creativity, and a sell-out crowd of 600+ industry leaders.

Submissions are reviewed by a respected panel of judges, including Danny Pecorelli, Emma King, Jacu Strauss, Jane Simpson, Jess Morrison, Sophie Borel, and Sophie Harper.

How can I get tickets? 

Highlights from 2024

The 2024 Brit List Awards drew over 600 guests and featured live DJs, contortionists, burlesque acts, and the unveiling of The Brit List 2024 – spotlighting the top 25 interior designers, architects, and hoteliers in the UK. The shortlist was first revealed at the BYRD launch party at Hart Shoreditch.

With resounding feedback from attendees, the 2024 edition marked a new high – and 2025 promises to go even further…

Yes! Please nominate yourself, your work, your favourite project, product, or anything else you’ve worked on.

Can I nominate someone else?

Yes! Please nominate your peers, clients, colleagues, and pals – put forward those too shy to put themselves forward, shout about the projects that have wowed you, big up the colleagues that have inspired you.

How much does it cost to enter The Brit List Awards?

Not one single penny! The best thing about entering The Brit List Awards is that it is completely FREE to enter!

When do I need to enter by?

Deadline for applications is Friday 25th July 2025, please make sure you get your application in by 11pm.

Are there any tips for writing a good submission?

The entry forms have been designed to make it as simple as possible for you to enter, here are a few tips:

Answer the questions on the form clearly and concisely, focus on key points that align with the criteria.

Highlight your impact, innovations, and anything else that stands out – what makes you or your projects different?

Inspire us! We love a backstory so tell the judges about your journey or unique achievements.

When and where will the awards ceremony take place?

Is there a dress code for the awards ceremony? 

Our theme for 2025 is ‘Take a Walk on the Wild Side’ so roll out your spots, stripes, scales, and feathers – or anything else that makes you feel fabulous!

How do shortlisted entries receive their complimentary tickets?

Shortlisted designers, architects, and hoteliers will be contacted in September 2025 by email with a link to their complimentary e-ticket to the ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one to the awards ceremony if I’m shortlisted?

By all means, bring a plus one, two, or three, but they will need to buy a ticket if they’re not on the shortlist themselves.

What do I get if I win?

If you make the shortlist, you will be listed in our annual Brit List Awards book, which will be handed out on the night of the awards ceremony and will be available at shows and by request for the entire year leading up to the next Brit List Awards ceremony.

If you are the overall winner of a category, you will be presented with a bespoke award trophy on the night of the awards (which you can take home and put in pride of place on your mantlepiece, trophy cabinet, or downstairs loo!).
