Built on the former site of Microsoft’s Head Quarters, the Winnersh Triangle Travelodge hotel is a bespoke 93-room property featuring a Bar Café. It is ideally suited for business and leisure travellers as it is located just a few minutes away from the train station which offers a direct service to London Paddington and Waterloo stations.
Exterior
Guests staying at the Winnersh Triangle Travelodge will experience the new interior design scheme Travelodge introduced in January this year. Family rooms are now equipped with two space saving comfy truckle beds for younger guests. When the beds are in use, the base can be used for storing luggage, providing extra space in the room.
Reception
The Bar Café offers traditional English favourites such as fish & chips and sausage & mash as well as the full English breakfast buffet.
Julia Rosamond, Travelodge Human Resource Director said: “We have been looking for a prominent site in Winnersh for some time and we are delighted to open the first branded budget hotel at Winnersh Triangle.
Triangle Bar Cafe
“There is a growing demand for good value accommodation within the area and our new hotel is a great base for business and leisure travellers visiting Winnersh Triangle. By offering great quality rooms at unbeatable value we will help attract new visitors to the area. This will help to boost the local economy by £1.6million annually and cement our position as the county’s favourite hotel brand for value.
“Berkshire is a key growth area for us and as part of our development strategy we are looking to open a further six hotels across the county and are looking for sites in: Ascot, Slough, Sandhurst, Reading, Windsor and Wokingham.”
