Mainsail Lodging & Development announced today the opening of the all-new Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club, a full-service resort on Anna Maria Island, Florida.
The boutique waterfront hotel is located at 5325 Marina Drive in Holmes Beach on the eastern shore of the island and offers exclusive amenities, distinctive services and numerous opportunities for guests to enjoy the authentic, laid-back, beach town vibe of Anna Maria Island.
The new resort features 37 stylish guest rooms and suites with gourmet kitchens; a 50-slip marina offering a variety of water activities; 2,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space; the signature Eliza Ann’s Coastal Kitchen restaurant and bar; as well as a resort-style swimming pool with oversized sun deck extending into the marina.
Waterline’s marina will be the center of aquatic activity at the resort, with boat slips for guests who arrive by water; charter boats for family outings, eco-tours, guided fishing excursions, sailing adventures and sunset cruises; along with stand-up paddleboards and kayak tours. Waterline’s separate Beach Club offers guests exclusive beach access, kayaks, lounge chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. Waterline has also curated a myriad of authentic adventures and activities on Anna Maria Island bookable through their website. From morning yoga to the art of fish painting, visitors and locals alike can seek new experiences and enjoy them right in their backyard.
Through a partnership with Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch & Shorebird Monitoring, the resort will also support efforts to maintain a suitable habitat for sea turtles, shorebirds and the island ecosystem through special guest programs, promotions and messaging.
Waterline joins a strikingly unique ensemble of hotels in Mainsail Lodging & Development’s portfolio, including Epicurean Hotel in Tampa’s Hyde Park, which offers an immersive experience for foodies; Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, a private island resort in the British Virgin Islands; and Mainsail Beach Inn on Anna Maria Island which features twelve upscale two- and three-bedroom vacation residences. Two additional Florida hotels are planned for 2018 and 2019, respectively – Fenway Hotel in Dunedin and Luminary Hotel & Co. in Fort Myers.
