Time is running out to sign up for this year’s Geberit Challenge, which promises to be the toughest and most rewarding yet, so domestic and commercial plumbers and installers are urged to sign up now or risk being left on the sidelines for another year. With commercial installers pipping domestic teams to the post for the last two years, could 2013 be the year for domestic plumbers and fitters to shine through? Do your domestic installation skills leave commercial fitters for dust? There’s only one way to find out and that’s by signing up to the Challenge of the year with Geberit.
Regional heats of the 2013 Geberit Challenge are due to take place in Coventry on 8 November and in Glasgow a week later on 15 November. Together they will see 96 two-man teams being put through their paces as they compete in various disciplines designed to test their speed, skills and knowledge of sanitary technology and Geberit systems.
There can only be one winner and they will earn themselves a luxury holiday for four to Dubai, complete with dinner at an oasis and an off-road tour through the desert, where they can put the sweat and nerves of competing in the Geberit Challenge far behind them.
With a party atmosphere playing a vital part of the proceedings there will be prizes for audience members too, so it’s worth going along to support colleagues, friends or even arch rivals.
Winners of last year’s Geberit Challenge, Neil Thompson and Jason Low from Nature Delivered, still have fond memories of the competition and are looking forward to defending their title in November. Neil comments: “The competition was tough, but the crowd really got behind us and the atmosphere was great. We’re used to working under pressure and to resolving issues as a team, and these skills were certainly challenged on the night – the event definitely lives up to its name!“
If you think you’ve got what it takes to beat Neil and Jason and be crowned the best of the best installers in the land then sign up for the Geberit Challenge today by visiting www.geberit.co.uk/challenge, or call 0800 077 8365.
