The Wandsworth Group has appointed Gary Stevens as the company’s new managing director.Gary first joined Wandsworth as a sales representative in 1987and has risen through the sales and marketing management ranks becoming Wandsworth’s sales and marketing director in 2005 and completing an MBA.
Gary has been closely involved with the technology shift in the nurse call division of the Group over recent years and, in his new role as managing director, he will have a clear remit to build on the core strengths and heritage of the 105-year-old company in the design and manufacture of high quality wiring accessories and ‘best in class’ nurse call systems whilst retaining his sales director role.
Comments Gary: “I have been a full board director at Wandsworth for six years and during that time the company has embraced new technology to lead the marketplace in the nurse call and healthcare technology sector whilst staying true to our core values to deliver well-designed, high quality, British-made wiring accessories. I am delighted to be taking on the role of managing director and looking forward to leading the team as it takes the company through the next stage in its development. We have a very robust plan moving forward and we are all looking forward to implementing that plan over the next 12-18 months.”
