The passion proved powerful at Sleep

With a stunning stand conceived around the theme ‘a passion for design’, Wilton Carpets Commercial garnered widespread praise among visitors to November’s Sleep Event, dispelling the myth that the British manufacturer is just about wilton carpet and traditional designs.

With a passionflower design carpet that transcended from floor to wall, Wilton Carpets showed to specifiers within the hotel and leisure sector that it is pushing forward the boundaries of contemporary flooring while delivering high performance carpets for a broad range of hospitality environments.

Visitors discovered more about the manufacturer’s Flexiweave semi-bespoke concept that allows specifiers to re-colour hundreds of designs for a carpet unique to their environment and how they can take advantage of a wide range of stock carpets to be found in the FastTrack service. A catalogue of completed projects also proved that Wilton Carpets is ready to take on the most avant-garde of bespoke designs, including large-scale repeats for public areas with co-ordinated designs that can be used elsewhere to a more subtle effect.

Over two days at the Building Design Centre, London, Wilton Carpets proved itself ideal for specifiers looking for a complete carpet solution for hospitality and leisure environments and hailed the Sleep Event a success:

“The exhibition provided us with an excellent chance to engage with a community at the heart of our product,” said sales director, Alan Whittle. “Those that attended were the people that specify our products and so it was vital that we used the opportunity not only to tell them of our ability to meet all design briefs, but to discover exactly what they needed from a modern carpet manufacturer. We were delighted with the responses we received to our commercial collections and look forward to progressing with the many new relationships we made at the event.”
