Following a £20m complete top to toe refurbishment The Bellhouse Hotel will officially open its doors as the Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross Hotel this Autumn 2015.Having been inaugurated into the Crowne Plaza portfolio the hotel promises to deliver the quality and trusted service synonymous with the Crowne Plaza brand but with a very distinct identity.

Described as “a celebration of both town & country” the 138-bedroomed four-star hotel, spa and events centre is set at the base of the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty and is just 17mins from the centre of London providing the ideal weekend retreat for city dwellers seeking an escape, or business trip base.

The Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross will boast an impressive list of individual parts adding up to one unforgettable experience.

In-keeping with the hotel’s rich automotive history, BMW Group company Designworks have been commissioned to create the concept behind the meeting and events space; a first for a branded hotel. Providing the perfect venue for weddings, conferences or events, this 6500sqm ‘styled with substance’ space will feature two large conference and banqueting spaces seating up to 350 and 260 persons respectively, 6 meeting rooms, Creative Attic, breakout bar and landscaped garden.

1269; the year the neighbouring town of Beaconsfield was first given a charter allowing an annual market for trading livestock, will also provide the name and inspiration for the hotel’s destination bar and restaurant. 1269 Restaurant & Bar will specialise in livestock, game and butcher-style preparation. Designed by SuperFutures, the team behind Chotto Matte and Barrafina, the statement pieces of the restaurant will be a freshly hung meat display, a Whisky vault and a bourbon focused drinks menu to rival any London bar.

Wave Spa and Wellness Centre offers a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat with 15m pool, sauna, steam room and 5 treatment rooms including a Rasul™ Mud Therapy room. Re-energise and cleanse from the inside out at Wave Juice Bar where the menu is based on the philosophy of healthy, nutritious and balanced tastes offering the “best of what nature has”. Choose from the finest hand-crafted organic juices, freshly made immune boosting shots and energy rich food.

The 138 bedrooms are spacious with contemporary furnishings and luxury touches such as complimentary mini bars, Espa toiletries and LED Smart TVs. The décor contrasts bright blocks of uplifting orange, with warm walnut wood, crisp, white inviting bed linen and classic, stylish textured herringbone throws.
