Sol Hotels & Resorts has launched its new lifestyle brand, Sol Beach House, with the opening of its Ibiza location in June 2015 for its first summer season.Situated on the beachfront near the beautiful bay of Santa Eulalia on the East Coast of the island, Sol Beach House Ibiza offers a chilled out haven for adults. Renovated this summer, the hotel has 239 rooms and suites each with a spacious terrace and magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Sol Beach House hotels are designed for effortlessly stylish young adults who are looking for a relaxing, intimate and cultural experience. Guest rooms are modern and elegantly decorated with Ibiza-inspired interiors and beach-style rocking chairs, which perfectly complement the laid-back island atmosphere. Each room has been transformed with ensuite bathrooms and all the modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

The hotel has two impressive pools with large terraces, sunbeds and Bali beds, set against the oceanfront. With two restaurants, Sol Shack Chiringuito pool bar and a buffet restaurant, guests can enjoy a delectable mixture of fresh Mediterranean and international cuisines with a local twist.

With its hippie-chic feel, Sol Beach House Ibiza offers guests the chance to ‘brunch in your bikini’ on the oceanfront overlooking the beautiful gardens. The buffet restaurant provides breakfast and dinner, with organic local specialities. The Sol Shack Chiringuito pool bar has a laid-back vibe, making it the perfect hideaway from the midday sun for a poolside lunch or snack. Open daily from 11am – midnight, guests can enjoy a range of tapas and Mediterranean dishes, including Carpaccio of Salt Codfish, Monkfish with Clams and Seasonal Fire Roasted Vegetable and Mushroom Platter. Open 6pm – midnight daily, guests can enjoy cocktails at The Lobby Bar and relax to live music, including acoustic sets, bossa nova beats and Ibiza chill out DJ sessions playing into the night.

To rejuvenate the body and soul, the hotel provides a Zen area. Designed to balance the positive and negative energies within your space, as well as within yourself, it will bring harmony to the senses, as well as tranquillity and wellbeing. The Zen area offers a range of classes and treatments, including Yoga, Pilates and Aquagym, as well as massages. A 24-hour fully equipped gym is also available for visitors looking for a more active holiday.

Relaunched in summer 2015 following a full rebrand, Sol Hotels & Resorts has created four signature concepts for leisure travellers: Sol House, Sol Beach House, Sol Hotels & Sol Katmandu Park & Resort. Earlier this year Meliá Hotels International sold seven of its largest resort hotels in Spain to a controlled affiliate of global private investment firm Starwood Capital Group for €176 million, whilst retaining the management of the hotels. The partnership has invested approximately €30 million on renovations, to support the transformation of the Sol Hotels brand this summer, including Sol Beach House Ibiza.

Andre Gerondeau, Executive Vice President at Meliá Hotels International, said: “Sol Beach House is one of our new hotel concepts for adults following the complete relaunch of the Sol Hotels & Resorts brand this summer. The hotels are all in prime beachside locations, and Sol Beach House Ibiza is no exception with its spectacular oceanfront views overlooking Santa Eulalia Bay. The hotels are ideal for adults looking for a more relaxed and laid back holiday, which is modern with vintage touches. Sol Beach House allows guests to go with the flow, with no plans or schedules, and gives them the freedom to tailor their holiday, whether they are looking for a more chilled or active break.”
