Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino have announced the final phase of its resort-wide transformation with the upcoming redesign of more than 3,000 guest rooms and suites.Created by the MGM Resorts International Design Group, each of the designs for the new rooms and suites will feature vibrant colours and bold statement pieces, exuding a confident and inviting atmosphere.

Featuring bright, natural designs and colour palettes with modern furnishings, the new rooms will offer comfortable spaces ideal for guests in search of a retreat during their stay. Splashes of texture and colour have been carefully integrated into lush fabrics and warm curtain patterns to create a bright and airy atmosphere.

Resort Collection
The Resort King will feature a refreshing cobalt and white colour scheme where the softness of the curtains will accentuate the curves of the carpet. The Resort Queen rooms will welcome guests with either a warm ruby and latte combination or rich lavender and mocha. Creating a bold centerpiece for the room, each bed is framed by a vibrant mural onyx-inspired wall. All rooms will feature a fully stocked minibar, Keurig coffee machine and a flat-screen HD TV, openly displayed and visible throughout the room.

For guests looking to stay connected, the new Resort Collection rooms will feature a thoughtfully designed work area with a spacious glass desk, modern seating and task lighting. Functional details include an electrical outlet on each lamp for easy bedside and tableside recharging. The experience is highlighted by sweeping views of the mountains, the city skyline or Mandalay Bay’s famed 11-acre pool and beach oasis.

Suite Collection
For guests seeking additional space, the Suite Collection offers one- and two-bedroom suites ideal for entertaining friends or meeting with co-workers. Featuring rich jewel tone fabrics accented by natural wood and stone, each suite will feature multiple seating and dining areas. The media and living area will include a large table for guests to gather and socialize, whether for business or pleasure.

Luxury Collection
Guests seeking the ultimate indulgence can select from the many glamorous one- to four-bedroom suites in the Luxury Collection. Featuring newly designed décor complemented by well-appointed amenities such as floor-to-ceiling windows and dining and bar areas, these suites will ensure that each guests’ stay feels like a well-deserved escape.

The approximately $100 million remodel includes more than 3,000 guest rooms and suites. The project is expected to be completed by spring 2016.
