Luxury fabric specialist, Kobe, has sponsored the upholstery and soft furnishings student awards at the Wendy Shorter Interiors training centre in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.Students had the opportunity to compete in three different competitions to showcase their design creativity as well as excellence in traditional and modern upholstery skills.
The winning students included Regis Cheval, who won the stage three advance craft upholstery competition. Kobe will be supporting Regis with a variety of activities including marketing and concept books.
Harriet Page and Darryl Perry were both winners of the stage two traditional upholstery competition and were awarded a selection of Kobe fabric to support their stage three course work. Frances Mitchell won the soft furnishings competition and was also awarded a selection of Kobe fabric.
