Visitors to the Canadian capital now have even more choice of quality accommodation to choose from thanks to the opening of the newly-renovated 261-room Holiday Inn Ottawa East, the latest offering from the Intercontinental Hotel Group.
Formerly the Chimo Hotel, the Holiday Inn Ottawa East opens after an extensive CAN$9 million (£4.6 million) renovation. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, fully equipped fitness centre and more than 8,500 sq. ft. of meetings space with capacity for up to 180 people.
Holiday Inn Ottawa East joins six other Intercontinental Hotel Group properties in the city. They include the centrally located Hotel Indigo Ottawa, the 232-room Crowne Plaza Gatineau-Ottawa and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottawa Airport; which is conveniently located just a stone’s throw from the airport terminal.
The new opening further strengthens the capital’s diverse hotel offering. UK visitors to Ottawa can already choose from a wide range of accommodation from intimate boutique properties to state of the art business hotels.
