Designed to ensure the bathroom is a comfortable place for everyone, regardless of any mobility issues, Geberit has introduced the Monolith Vario, which enables ceramics to be mounted at a higher position.Offering a simple yet highly effective solution to what will become an increasingly common issue as our population ages, the Geberit Monolith Vario is a base cover, which can be added to the bottom of the Monolith for WCs to allow for an adjustable height option.
Raising the height of the drain from its regular 25cm position, the WC can be positioned at a height of up to 50cm, with a 7cm step pipe and Vario blind installed. This ensures that the WC is positioned at a comfortable height for those with less abled movement. The base cover itself is only visible from 3 to 9cm and is made from brushed INOX allowing it to blend seamlessly into its surroundings.
One of the major benefits of the Geberit Monolith sanitary module is that it makes replacing floorstanding sanitaryware with wall-hung a simple task, even retrospectively. With all pipes and fittings neatly concealed behind the slimline glass panel for a minimal finish, the Geberit Monolith sanitary module can be connected to existing water and drainage connections, meaning no major structural changes are neccessary.
The Geberit Monolith Vario takes this flexibility one step further, as it can be easily adapted as the needs of the user change over time, as it can be retro-fitted. This innovative addition to the Geberit Monolith portfolio is suitable for use with the 101cm and 114cm sanitary modules, making it the ideal inclusive solution for any bathroom.
