Following their purchase by Gallery Direct Ltd last year, Frank Hudson is making a renewed push into the hotel market under Contracts Sales Manager Keith Clarke. The Frank Hudson offering of luxury bedroom, dining and occasional furniture, coupled with Gallery’s extensive collections of high quality Hudson Living statement and functional furniture and Gallery Home mirrors, soft furnishings and home accessories, means Keith can offer clients a complete look for hotel rooms. Combine this with their bespoke manufacturing service for clients who prefer an individual solution, and any single room through to multi room refurbishments can be designed and installed to meet the clients’ requirements.Frank Hudson established the company in High Wycombe in 1947 as the UK came out of war to face rebuilding a shattered economy. Whilst Europe rebuilt with Marshall Aid, Britain, burdened with wartime debt to the US (a debt not paid off until 2006), was reliant on the ingenuity and determination of its people for reconstruction. Frank Hudson played a part in the rebuilding of Britain, using his engineering and master carver skills in the rebuilding and restoration of London.

The company was founded in High Wycombe by master wood carver Frank Hudson and his son Rex in 1947 and has been making fine furniture ever since. Frank’s grandsons Tim, James and Tom are still strongly involved in keeping the proud heritage alive today. The old factory site is now home to Frank Hudson’s furniture showrooms, and design prototypes are constantly being created in the workshops.

The Frank Hudson furniture collections are created by Gallery’s in-house design team, recreating timeless classic furniture and updating it to suit modern-day interiors, whilst maintaining manufacturing methods in order to produce pieces with long lasting appeal. All the products are produced to the highest standards, using traditional skills. Beautifully constructed and meticulously hand finished, Frank Hudson furniture offers clients the very best in British design.
