Leaders in contemporary brassware launch modern technology with period style

Perfect for classic bathrooms, the new Belgravia brassware collection from Crosswater brings sophisticated elegance to the ever popular nostalgic look. Belgravia brassware is a great partner for period style sanitaryware and for freestanding roll top baths – but will work equally well in adding a distinctive touch to contemporary room schemes. This comprehensive collection of six basin and ten bath/shower mixers is designed by Crosswater’s founder and Chairman David Hance, and manufactured exclusively for the Company in Europe. Belgravia features three different handle designs, Crosshead, Fleur De Lis and Lever and an enormous choice of fittings, ranging from standard basin monobloc mixers to floor mounted bath fillers for authentic period styling. All the items in the range are made from top quality brass castings, which provide excellent performance and the finest detail. Individual assembly and meticulous hand polishing by craftsmen gives the chrome plating a deep shine, adding to the period appeal of the collection.

The classic Crosshead has authentic fine-porcelain hot and cold indices, or for anyone who wants a more Edwardian look, there are smart ceramic Lever designs. Crosswater prides itself on developing brassware collections that meet every design need – so Belgravia also includes Fleur de Lis, a take on the classic Crosshead that brings a touch of timeless French styling. The spokes of the hand wheels in Fleur de Lis have a gentle downward curve finishing in a soft teardrop-shaped end. This look works beautifully with marble topped vanities and with classic console basins.

David Hance explains, “There are very few brassware collections that offer as much choice and variety as Belgravia. No detail has been overlooked. We understand what the customer wants and the team here at Crosswater design and specify exceptional quality taps in exclusive partnership with the very best European manufacturers.”

As well as the standard range of basin and bath fillers, the Belgravia collection includes different spout heights on monobloc basin mixers; long or short nose pillar taps; wall mounted basin and bath fillers; tall floor mounted bath fillers, and bath shower mixers; deck mounted bath shower mixers with a lift-off telephone style shower handset.

David Hance, who has been personally involved with the design of all Crosswater’s ranges for over 20 years, has also ensured that Belgravia is packed with technical advantages. Quarter turn operation on all taps makes them perfect for British water pressure. Handset cradles are all ‘no wobble’, low-lead brass is used throughout and industry leading, high performance Fluhs cartridges are used for all items. Wider bath filler spouts enable the bath to be filled at speed and matching hot and cold isolator taps are a thoughtful, practical feature available with Belgravia. Used widely all over Europe, isolators allow the hot or cold supply to bathroom fittings to be shut off without turning the water off elsewhere in the property.

As is customary with Crosswater products, Belgravia is offered a full 15 year guarantee. The Belgravia collection is shown in Crosswater’s new brochure, which can also be viewed online at www.crosswater.co.uk/crosswater-new-products-2013.
