Meliá Hotels International to open three new hotels in Thailand over three years

    Following an agreement between Meliá Hotels International and the Thai conglomerate TCC Land Asset World, three new hotels have been signed in the region.In the first three years of the new contract, the two companies will develop, in total, three hotels under the ME by Meliá, Paradisus Resorts and Sol Beach House brands.

    The agreement with TCC Land Asset World marks a new phase in MHI’s Asia Pacific expansion strategy, a major focus for the Company, launching the first ME by Meliá and Paradisus Resorts hotels in Asia and first Sol Beach House in Thailand.

    ME by Meliá
    The opening of ME Bangkok will introduce the Asian and Thai market to ME by Meliá, a personality-led, lifestyle brand that seeks to fuse innovative style with local art, design, music and fashion. The brand’s flagship property, ME London, encapsulates the philosophy of ME by Meliá by offering a personal guest experience, combined with striking architecture and interiors.

    Paradisus Resorts
    A luxury, all-inclusive Paradisus Resorts will open in one of the top holiday destinations in Thailand, with location to be announced. The resort will be the first Paradisus property to open in Asia, offering families and couples unrivalled indulgence through the brand’s Royal Service and Family Concierge amenities.

    Sol Beach House
    Sol Beach House Koh Samui will open within the next two years, following a renovation of the existing Imperial Boat House Koh Samui Hotel. The relaxed adult only resort will have 209 rooms, as well as 33 boat suites or rice barges converted into 91m₂ of chic accommodation.
