Its walls bedecked with numerous awards including the World Luxury Spa Awards’ ‘Best Luxury Destination Spa 2015’ and popular with spa goers across the country, the UK’s first eco-spa, the Titanic Spa in West Yorkshire has unveiled its new extended spa space.
Complete with a glamorous cocktail bar, social spaces including a cosy snug and a unique vertical green garden to keep the air quality clean and healthy, plus an improved outdoor area with sunken hot tub, means Titanic Spa now has an even better offering than ever before.

The glamorous Bar 1911, named after the year the Titanic Mill was built, is upcycled in an old part of the Titanic Mill building and offers a garden-themed lounge with social spaces ranging from a cosy snug area for quiet time to comfortable seated areas for catching up with friends.

The décor is contemporary and uplifting in the main bar area; featuring polished concrete and copper with huge floor to ceiling Mill windows flooding light into the lounge and bar with a view of the new courtyard garden and tree tops lining the neighbouring canal. Central to the lounge is an impressive vertical garden green wall reflecting Titanic Spa’s ethos for using natural resources, protecting the environment and incorporating sustainable design into its build, the first of its kind in the UK.

For evening glamour, there is a decadent mirrored lounge, ideal for enjoying one of the Bar 1911 signature cocktails. Bar staff have been trained by Kevin Raybone, Master Mixologist for Midweek Cocktail Club.

Outdoors, the existing spa garden has been landscaped to include a 3-metre sunken hot tub and lounge area with heaters. The new outdoor space has been created to extend the current offering of socialising outside – whatever the weather.

The extensive range of facilities include Club Titanic which hosts a 15m salt regulated swimming pool with underwater music played, hydrozone, steam and sauna rooms plus a fully equipped gym. This is in addition to the celebrity loved, Titanic Heat & Ice Experience boasting hot experiences such as the Crystal Steam Room and aromatic Herbal Infusion Room and cold experiences including the plunge pool and ice bucket, only for the very brave…

The new spa expansion, which began at the end of 2014 and was completed in July 2015, was designed to improve the customer experience and increase social space. The new facilities ensure Titanic Spa maintains its position as a leading spa destination in northern UK.
