Following Autograph Collection’s announcement of the brand’s entry into Azerbaijan, Boulevard Hotel Baku and Intourist Hotel Baku have this month joined the collection of strikingly independent hotels. The properties, which are located in the enigmatic capital of Baku, account for two of Autograph Collection’s four hotels now present in Azerbaijan – with two luxurious hotels from the Shahdag Mountain Resort having joined the collection in December 2014. Named after the eponymous seafront walking promenade and set right at the Baku Bay, Boulevard Hotel Baku offers 818 charming rooms. Located in the heart of Baku White City district, along one of the main routes connecting the city centre with Heydar Aliyev International Airport, this hotel provides fantastic conference facilities, with the largest space on offer in Azerbaijan.

Boulevard Hotel features three restaurants, an executive lounge, and a magnificent 1,300 square metre ballroom – which provides natural daylight and state of the art audio-visual equipment. The Green House Kitchen is the hotel’s main restaurant, and serves a menu of Mediterranean cuisine that changes seasonally. Herbs and vegetables are sourced from the kitchen’s back garden, which also features a charcoal grill and wood-burning oven. The White City Lounge is an elegant social venue adjacent to the lobby of the hotel, offering a 24-hour service. Boulevard Hotel Baku’s a la carte restaurant, Black City Café, specializes in grilled and smoked comfort food from New York City.

The hotel’s conference centre features six multi-functional meeting rooms all equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. Boulevard Hotel’s wellness centre and gymnasium offers one of the most comprehensive facilities in Azerbaijan, with treatments provided by leading spa brand Elemis.

Located in the heart of Baku city and overlooking the waterfront boulevard, known as the National Park, Intourist Hotel Baku offers 150 alluring guest rooms and suites – most of which offer panoramic views directly over the Caspian Sea and Baku Boulevard. With close proximity to major attractions, the hotel offers superb connections throughout the city.

Intourist Hotel Baku revives an 80-year-old legacy, while bringing in the best of modern hospitality experiences with its elegant rooms and unique dining facilities. The hotel’s B&B Club restaurant, bar and lounge is located on the mezzanine floor and features an interactive open kitchen with wood-burning oven, semi-private dining areas and a beautiful green terrace overlooking the sea. The B&B Club hosts Baku’s first Bubbles Bar, offering over 30 different kinds of champagne and the largest selection of vodkas along with vintage spirits and wines.

Guests can take advantage of the Day Spa and Wellness area, which consists of a high-tech gym with panoramic sea views, saunas, steam baths, and two spa suites, each offering en-suite walk-in showers, vanity and changing areas, and closets. Intourist Hotel Baku offers a fully equipped multi-functional meeting space called Room 1934 with the adjacent Library area that can be converted into a private venue, serving tea, coffee and other refreshments. A designated business corner has two working desks and is conveniently located within the Library area just opposite the meeting room.

The vision behind the Autograph Collection is to offer an evolving group of passionately independent hotel experiences ranging from a 15-room boutique hunting lodge in the mountains of Colorado to a 19th century neoclassical palace in the majestic city of Prague. Exactly like nothing else, each hotel is thoughtfully chosen for its quality, originality, bold character and capacity to offer today’s modern traveller a range of unique experiences suited to their individual sense of style and adventure. While still relatively new, the distinct portfolio has proven to be a highly successful venture due to its discerning selection process and unique ability to create memories through enriching travel experiences.
