A Shade Above has recently launched a beautiful new lamp in a traditional yet contemporary style. It has been specifically designed with lampshade shapes in mind to be versatile. Lamp bases and bespoke handmade lampshades are available from A Shade Above at design@ashadeabove.co.uk or 01273 881130.The ‘Regency’ lampbase is shown here looking beautiful with three different soft lampshades featuring delicate pleats and gathers – the large drum in a wide knife pleat with contrasting silk trim and lining, a small empire in a delicate cream silk gather, and a contemporary oval shape in a silk chiffon gather.
The ‘Regency’ lamp is available in three finishes, nickel, blackened brass and brass. The finish and height can be adapted to special order.
