The luxury Hotel Can Mostatxins (Hotel Moustache) has opened its doors in June after a four-year restoration. Located in the historic walled town of Alcúdia just 30 metres from the main square. In-keeping with its original gothic style, the hotel has been transformed into the perfect location for a relaxing, indulgent and glamorous experience.Hotel Moustache features nine completely unique luxury rooms all named after local Cala’s (coves) representing a place of peace. It is the only boutique within the walls of Alcúdia to feature a magnificent spa pool, creating the perfect fusion between its original traditional styling and modern state- of -the- art furnishings.

Guestrooms feature luxurious en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi, a satellite flatscreen TV, fridge, phone, safe, tea & coffee making facilities, air conditioned rooms and blackout window blinds providing ultimate privacy. Other amenities include a Bose ‘blue tooth’ speaker and a guest iPad for public area use, as well as a range of books and games in the hotel library.

The hotel spa boasts its own fully trained in-house physiotherapist, with a separate treatment area on the same level as the pool. Treatments include a back and neck massage, sports massage (foot and leg), chocolate therapy and hot stone and full body massage.

The hotel also features a stunning Tower Suite, laid out over two floors with a living room containing a sofa bed for one and a luxurious bathroom on the ground floor, and a wooden, open staircase in keeping with the exposed stone work and oak flooring, leading to a bedroom on the upper floor. Guests can delight in overlooking the hotel’s spa pool and the vast views stretching to the mountains in the distance and the Bay of Pollença on ‘kissing seats’, a feature of the room’s private terrace which is also present in the Tower bedroom.

General hotel amenities include a continental breakfast, available every morning with flexible dining times, and Honesty bar, where guests can help themselves to a range of champagne, cava, fine wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks 24/7. Although the hotel does not have its own restaurant, it offers a restaurant booking service, with recommendations of the best tried and tested restaurants in Mallorca. Travel services are also available through the hotel, with beach recommendations and opportunities to book bikes, taxis and helicopters.

Hotel Can Mostatxins has been developed by the Worthington family who have been living and working in the region around Alcúdia and Pollenca for over 30 years.

Hotel Moustache has strived to keep the original and unique historical features of the building which include a wine vat, the 15th century tower and a large courtyard cut out of the sandstone sitting 20 metres below ground.
