What are The Brit List Awards?
The Brit List Awards, powered by Hotel Designs, is an annual celebration of excellence in British and international hospitality and design. Recognising top interior designers, architects, hoteliers, and suppliers, the event honours innovation, sustainability, and standout talent across 13 award categories.
A cornerstone of the industry calendar, The Brit List Awards celebrated its 9th year on 5th November 2025 at London’s Ministry of Sound. Under the bold theme ‘Take a Walk on the Wild Side’, more than 600 guests enjoyed an evening of glittering entertainment and dazzling creativity.

Can I nominate myself?
Yes! Please nominate yourself, your work, your favourite project, product, or anything else you’ve worked on.
Can I nominate someone else?
Yes! Please nominate your peers, clients, colleagues, and pals – put forward those too shy to put themselves forward, shout about the projects that have wowed you, big up the colleagues that have inspired you.
How much does it cost to enter The Brit List Awards?
Not one single penny! The best thing about entering The Brit List Awards is that it is completely FREE to enter!
When do I need to enter by?
Entries for the 2026 campaign are not yet open, but once they are, we will let you know!
Are there any tips for writing a good submission?
The entry forms have been designed to make it as simple as possible for you to enter, here are a few tips:
Answer the questions on the form clearly and concisely, focus on key points that align with the criteria.
Highlight your impact, innovations, and anything else that stands out – what makes you or your projects different?
Inspire us! We love a backstory so tell the judges about your journey or unique achievements.
When and where will the awards ceremony take place?
Our glitzy awards ceremony traditionally takes place in early November, the 2026 date is not yet finalised – but we’ll let you know as soon as it is!
Is there a dress code for the awards ceremony?Â
For the first time ever, 2025 was themed: ‘Take a Walk on the Wild Side’. 2026’s theme is still under wraps!
How do shortlisted entries receive their complimentary tickets?
Shortlisted designers, architects, and hoteliers will be contacted in September by email with a link to their complimentary e-ticket to the ceremony.
Can I bring a plus one to the awards ceremony if I’m shortlisted?
By all means, bring a plus one, two, or three, but they will need to buy a ticket if they’re not on the shortlist themselves.
What do I get if I win?
If you make the shortlist, you will be listed in our annual Brit List book, which will be handed out on the night of the awards ceremony and will be available at shows and by request for the entire year leading up to the next Brit List Awards ceremony.
If you are the overall winner of a category, you will be presented with a bespoke award trophy on the night of the awards (which you can take home and put in pride of place on your mantlepiece, trophy cabinet, or downstairs loo!).

That’s right, The Brit List Awards is back – and the team are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that this year’s campaign to find Britain’s best designers, architects, hoteliers and brands is the most meaningful nationwide search to date!
The Brit List Awards remains our most anticipated physical event of the year. Here are the major milestones to bookmark along this year’s journey from now until The Brit List Awards Ceremony in November.

April to July – time to get nominating/applyingÂ
Nominations/applications are open for several months for the industry to get nominating and applying for The Brit List Awards 2025. It is FREE to apply/nominate yourself or anyone else for the 13 categories. Submissions close at the end of July.
August – your fate is left in our judges’ hands…Â
Once all the nominations/applications are in, we start the in-depth judging process. Our judges have been hand-selected and together will harness their wealth of knowledge and experience in order to select this year’s individual winners. The top 25 entries in the interior design, architecture and hospitality categories will be profiled in The Brit List 2025, Hotel Designs’ annual publication that references the top 75 most influential individuals in British design, architecture and hospitality. This publication will be handed out to the masses at the awards ceremony in November.

September – shortlist is announced and the suspense builds
If you have been shortlisted for The Brit List Awards 2025, you will have been notified and also name-dropped in Hotel Designs’ big announcement. In addition, shortlisted designers, architects, and hoteliers, will be offered a complimentary ticket to attend the awards ceremony*, which takes place on 5 November 2025.
5 November – it’s time to celebrate!
Get your glad rags ready and your favourite jacket pressed, for we are preparing our biggest and most extravagant awards ceremony to date! The winners of The Brit List Awards 2025 will be unveiled at the iconic music venue, Ministry of Sound on 5 November. Come dressed and ready to party (and to impress) – we’re not doing the whole ‘sit down dinner’ affair. Instead, we’re hosting the mother of all parties to celebrate our industry’s finest being together under one roof.
*All interior designer, architect, and hotelier finalists will be given a complimentary ticket to attend the awards night. In order to activate your ticket you will need to contact Katy Phillips: k.phillips@forumevents.co.uk.
