BRAND DESCRIPTIONS:

Clarke & Clarke:

With a heighted sensitivity towards every current of trends, Clarke & Clarke is for every dedicated follower of fashion. Founded in 1999, the brand boasts one of the most eclectic portfolios within the Sanderson Design Group. Making nods from the sleekly modern to the decadently glamourous, Clarke & Clarke perfectly encapsulates the eccentricity in contemporary British design.

As a forerunner of the transitional style, Clarke & Clarke embodies an agile design ethos. Recognising that interior design is an important expression of the self, the brand responds to the everyday need for versatile, high quality designs, as well as products with a finger on the pulse of recent trends. Pitched towards a style-conscious demographic, Clarke & Clarke recognises that interior design is an important expression of the self. To this end, the brand is in a perpetual state of invention and reinvention, committed to supplying the market with fresh ideas for modern living.

Sanderson:

Founded in 1860, Sanderson is one of the most renowned interiors brand worldwide, as well as the most senior within the Sanderson Design Group family. Combining a timeless British sensibility with hand-drawn patterns and bold reinterpretations from a historic archive, every Sanderson design arrives with the security that befits a brand of such a prestigious legacy.

Drawing deeply from the rural idyll at its heart, Sanderson’s designs evoke a bucolic paradise in the core of the English countryside. This quintessentially English sensitivity informs all of Sanderson’s products, including fabrics and wallpapers, bedlinen, paint and tableware.

Granted a Royal Warrant in 1923, Sanderson still supplies fabrics, paint and wallcoverings to HM Queen Elizabeth II and British Royal Palaces. In 2020, Sanderson celebrated its 160th Anniversary, making it the oldest surviving English brand in its field.

Harlequin:

Inspired colour stories, boldly expressive pattern creations, and luxurious production techniques: this, is Harlequin. Imagined as a vehicle for self-expression through creative design, pushing personal boundaries along with those of the interior design industry. Uniting high quality collections with vivacious colours and textures, Harlequin’s ambition is to empower all people to express their best selves through creative interior design.

One of the most high-spirited brands on the market, Harlequin also produces playful designs for kids, satisfying the indefatigable child in all of us. Boasting one of the most ambitiously eclectic portfolios within Sanderson Design Group, Harlequin strives to offer designs that speak to everyone’s need to get creative and live in beautiful spaces.

Morris & Co:

As a political theorist, publisher, environmental campaigner, poet, as well as an outstanding designer, William Morris (1834–1896) was one of the single most influential figures of the nineteenth century. Under his direction, Morris & Co. grew into a flourishing and fashionable Arts & Crafts decorating firm renowned for its wallpapers and textiles. Today, the Sanderson Design Group build on that proud heritage with inventive re-imaginations of Morris & Co. classics, ever upholding the impeccable standard of craftsmanship which has defined all Morris & Co. products since their inception.

Always guided by Morris’s creative intuition, designs are inspired by treasures in our Morris & Co. archive, which houses historical log books, samples of every wallpaper, printed and woven textiles and original wooden printing blocks. For their ability to faithfully transform any space into an Arts & Crafts haven, and for their evocations of the glorious drama and wonderment in nature, Morris & Co.’s authentic archival pieces continue to experience insatiable demand to this day.

Scion:

Let’s put the joy back into the soul of interior design! Scion Living presents an uplifting solution to any domestic scheme, with fresh Scandi-inspired designs, zesty colours and rejuvenated ideas for modern living.

As the proud creators of colourful characters including the crafty Mr Fox, Scion Living is renowned for its playful creatures which dance, skip and clamber across crisp bedlinen, rugs, towels, tableware and bathroom accessories.

Appealing to a broad audience hungry for vibrancy, Scion Living collections are full of spontaneous individuality whilst upholding an enduring appeal. Justifiably proud of its British roots, Scion’s printed fabric and wallcoverings are all manufactured in the UK.

Zoffany:

Speaking to a taste for sophisticated artistry, when Zoffany draws from its extensive archive, it is never at the expense of producing exquisite designs for modern settings. Traditional forms like Damasks and Velvets are skilfully enhanced to maximise the sensual tactility of any space, for a beguiling experience of interior design.

By looking back to Zoffany’s first ever collection, a series of innovatively reproduced wallpapers inspired by the Tudor-Jacobean country house, Temple Newsam, a creative relationship with past designs emerge. It is this innovative relationship between past and present, whilst always striving for the most refined finish, that informs Zoffany’s ethos.

With its accomplished aesthetic, Zoffany produces an extensive range of wallpapers, fabrics, trimmings, paint, carpets and furniture, for both contemporary and classic interiors.
