EPOC Handcrafted Beds – a separate division of the Mansion House Bedding Company focused on the high-end interior design and boutique hotel market – was established in the East End of London by Joseph James Cope in 1949. Celebrating its 75th trading anniversary in 2024, the business was founded with one overriding ambition – to build the finest mattresses and divan beds to the very highest calibre and in the traditional manner. EPOC uses only the finest products and materials in their beds and treats every item as a bespoke piece – with the greatest attention to detail, everything is hand-made to order, using natural fillings including coir, hair, cashmere, lambs’ wool, mohair, silk, wool and bamboo.
