For example, the decision was made to remove all foam from its products in 2010, allowing its beds to be truly recyclable. This also led to the invention of the eOlos™ material found in all Hypnos mattresses. Use of the eOlos™ material, made from recycled materials such as plastic bottles, has meant that almost 185,000,000 plastic bottles have avoided going to landfill and possibly ending up in the world’s oceans.
In 2019, the brand increased its sustainability commitment by partnering with Red Tractor Food and Farming Standards in an industry first collaboration that has seen Hypnos create the pioneering Origins Collection – using only 100% British wool, and offers unparalleled traceability.
