    Our key principles:

    1. Embedded in arts communities

With a respected reputation amongst arts communities, our art consultancy is connected to a network of artists’ studios, art colleges, art societies, galleries and museums around the world. Conscious of the pitfalls of online search engines, Artelier instead conducts research ‘on the ground’ – engaging with genuine arts communities who have established reputations, and proven abilities to meet the demands of our prestigious art projects.

    2. Unrivalled library of global artists

With over 20 years’ experience within as contemporary art consultants, Artelier’s in-depth knowledge and quality of research has culminated in an unrivalled database of over 10,000 contemporary artists. This database represents a global community of talented artists working in a spectrum of artforms and styles – all of which meet our demanding criteria for: Quality of Craftsmanship; Originality of Ideas; Credibility & Profile of Artist; and Industry Fair Pricing.

    3. Intelligently curated narratives

As leading specialists in fine art services and curatorial research, Artelier is adept at understanding the rich potential for a project’s context to uncover subtle and inspiring artistic narratives.  Drawing reference from our comprehensive database and our deep understanding of artistic processes, as art consultants we actively collaborate with talented artists to explore, evolve and expand artistic themes in the creation of works that are unique to the project.

    4. Local collaboration

Using Artelier’s projects as a platform for creativity, we bring together both established international artists alongside local emerging artists and crafts people in a collaborative way of working. This process activates a knowledge, skillset and cultural exchange in the development of artwork that are truly local, as well as relevant to an international context.

    5. Sense of luxury

Initially established as an art advisory for private clients, a large proportion of Artelier’s projects involve consulting directly with discerning private clientele and their team for bespoke art in their residences, superyachts, and private jets. Projects have included 18 superyachts between 70-160m in length and several private aircraft, such as a BBJ 737 and Dreamliner. Artelier brings this rare insight and true sense of luxury to its hospitality projects.

    Our Ethos:

    1. Supporting artists

Artelier upholds a truly supportive approach to working with artists. With an inherent belief in the creative potential of artists, Artelier connects talented artists to unique international projects and provides the necessary curatorial support for artists to develop new ambitious work.

    2. Ancient techniques & craftsmanship

Significant to Artelier are artists who have pursued a path of learning and developing ancient craft techniques, following in the footsteps of their ancestors to keep the medium alive and relevant to a contemporary context.

    3. Natural materials

Artelier has a particular focus on promoting artists working sustainably, and has developed strong relationships with a network of contemporary artists championing the use of natural materials.

    4. Environmental sustainability

Artelier is taking active steps towards being Carbon Neutral. Our offices are powered by 100 per cent renewable energy and all business activities are considered to minimise our carbon footprint. All our own artwork packing materials are plastic free and are either reusable or 100% biodegradable.
