Architectural films are designed to be conformable for 3D applications, meaning it’s not just flat surfaces where they can be applied. You can wrap almost any surface, which is ideal for the commercial environment. Most of the time you can even apply over the existing substrates. Because the film is lightweight it can easily be applied in situ.

As the films are conformable, they can be applied to curved structures to create really unusual designs.  Its 3D conformability means it can be heated and stretched around many shapes and contours. This has been a real win over laminates that require edge banding, but films offer the opportunity to wrap fully over edges to completely seal them.
