After Germany, Israel, Belgium and Switzerland Leonardo Hotels customers can look forward to a new travel destination. Since mid-August Leonardo Hotels has been managing the first Leonardo Hotel on Hungarian soil, the Leonardo Hotel Budapest (formerly Ramada Hotel Budapest). “Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in the world”, explains Daniel Roger, General Manager of Leonardo Hotels Europe.

“We are very proud to expand our portfolio with a new house in this attractive city and to have the possibility to present a wonderful new travel destination to our guests.”

The 4-star Leonardo Hotel Budapest is located only a 15 minute walk from the city centre and just a few minutes from the Danube and is part of the blooming business district Ferencváro. It comprises over 182 modern rooms and suites. Business travellers have an entire floor tailored to their needs standing at their disposal. Furthermore, there are three conference rooms with space for up to 120 people. Up to date technical equipment and natural daylight provide a professional and pleasant atmosphere.

On a culinary level guests will be spoiled at the hotel restaurant offering international cuisine. The associated bistro-bar serves breakfast as well as special wine selections, coffee and warm snacks around the clock. A modern health club with fitness room and sauna is available for workout or relaxation.

The 4-Star Hotel will be managed by General Manager Rafi Carmon. Mr. Carmon previously was responsible for running the Sheraton Moriah Eilat in Israel (1998 – 2011) and previous to that worked as General Manager of the Sheraton Four Points in Tiberias (1994 – 1998).

“This is only the beginning” emphasises Daniel Roger, “in 2011 Leonardo guests can look forward to numerous other projects that will be just as multifaceted as the needs of the travellers themselves. I am sure that within our chain everyone will find just the hotel he needs.”
