., the world leader in hotel room Internet, power and multimedia connectivity, is delighted to announce that the Rezidor Hotel Group has selected the MediaHub HD™ with Power/Data Extender product as a preferred partner for the connectivity panels in new Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts.Including MediaHub HD in their guestroom design means Radisson Blu will offer the most modern personalized in-room entertainment system, complete with a way for guests to fill the guestroom with their own iPod or MP3 music playlists without using a wire or cable.

As Europe’s largest upscale hotel brand, Radisson Blu is synonymous with creativity and innovation. David Dreschner, vice president, corporate purchasing services, says: “At Rezidor, we recognize the importance of providing our guests with advanced in-room technology. Guests are increasingly accessing their own entertainment and require in-room connectivity to compliment this. Alongside our interactive TV partner, OTRUM, the MediaHub HD panel will ensure that we provide a premium entertainment service at all Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts.”

MediaHub HD provides a complete multimedia connectivity solution allowing guests to play their personal media via the in-room TV. As part of the ongoing development of Radisson Blu’s guestroom entertainment offer, MediaHub HD acts as an easy-to-use conduit for guests to enjoy their own music playlists, movie rentals and downloads, video games, photo slideshows and more on the in-room flat panel TV.

Rezidor chose to add power and data extension, which adds the convenience of two additional power outlets and a wired Internet jack to their guestroom design, right where their guests will need it most. European customers can choose to add identical UK and EU sockets or choose a compatible combination of the two for added flexibility of multiple country power sockets per property.

Guests of the Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow in Russia and Radisson Blu Hotel, Kiev in Ukraine can already experience MediaHub HD personalized in-room entertainment centre.
