One of the most significant new product launches for some time is taking place in PF Collection’Long Eaton showroom over the three-week period of February 21st until March 7th 2010.The launch deliberately includes three Sunday openings to give interior design and retail customers a chance to see the new collection without taking a day off from their busy work schedule. However, all visits will be by appointment to make sure that each interested customer has the time to view and discuss this exciting new collection in detail with sales staff.

PF has one of the most skilled workforces in the industry and this new collection brings all those skills together. PF has been working with customer’s own supplied materials for over 20 years, therefore pattern matching and the use of different fabrics on various areas of the furniture holds no fears for the company.

In 2009 the use of patchwork and mix and match fabrics increased enormously and several craft based companies have been very successful in creating a design trend for this funky, vivid, chic and different style trend. The furniture has appeared on national television, the Sunday Times Style magazine and has received rave reviews at Decorex and in Elle Decoration. However, because it is artisan based it is very expensive and a common comment is that a commercially produced product is required. That commercially priced product is now available from PF.

Several style led companies such as Roche Bobois and a manufacturer of the design classic Egg Chair by Arne Jacobsen have introduced patchwork fabrics to its collection. Just search “patchwork furniture” on search engine, and you will see the level of interest being generated.

Several of its customers have sent in several different fabrics to use in creating their own version already and so it has decided to extend this design style to all customers.

The collection will initially consist of ten models and will be fully supported with a directory containing laminated photographs and a unique designer’s sketchbook. There is also an exclusive PF range of co-ordinated fabrics for you to create your own unique patchwork designs. Naturally, you can also supply your own fabrics but PF Collections will also be offering a stock service of unique one off pieces that will be designed by its design department and available to trade customers only via our secure website.
