Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort has unveiled a new collection of 13 Deluxe Oceanfront Suites, introducing a fresh chapter for the Royal Coconut Coast property following a multi-million-dollar investment.
Inspired by the Hawaiian philosophy of ‘From Mauka to Makai’ (the journey from mountain to sea) the new accommodation has been designed to strengthen guests’ connection with Kauai’s remarkable landscape, using natural materials, layered textures and uninterrupted oceanfront views to create an immersive sense of place.
The highly anticipated collection of Deluxe Oceanfront Suites includes 13 new luxury keys that elevate the resort’s room product and offer the best sunrise viewing experience on the island.

The newly designed 672-square-foot suites tower alongside the palms of Kauai’s Royal Coconut Coast, set just feet from the crashing East Cape. The suites’ interiors are designed as a visual and sensory reflection of Kauai’s diverse landscapes, from the lush forests and volcanic mountains inland to the vibrant Pacific Ocean.
Each Deluxe Oceanfront Suite features a king bed, spacious living area, and private oceanfront lanai with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame sweeping views of Kauai’s eastern shoreline – which famously offer the best viewpoints of the island’s world-renowned multi-colored sunrises.
Designed to immerse travelers within the Garden Isle, the suites blend indoor and outdoor living, with crashing waves omnipresent as the white noise in the room, inviting guests to enjoy the Pacific breeze throughout the day and absorb the magic of the unparalleled views of the first light that can be enjoyed without even getting out of bed.
The suite layout is designed to take guests through a journey, pulling them closer to the sea as you move inward from your front door out to the oceanview balcony. The entryway is bathed in rich wood tones, with accents of woven textures and the use of natural materials that evoke Kauai’s verdant mountain landscapes.

The bathroom is painted in neutral tones, evocative of the earth and volcanic elements that are at the island’s core. In the bedroom, the design transitions into serene sleeping and living areas inspired by the peaceful rhythm of the island’s coastal forests, featuring warm walnut finishes, custom furnishings, handwoven textiles, and organic textures that create a calming sense of place.
Granting a new unique experience, each room’s king bed is positioned at a height and lanai-facing orientation within the room to give guests the ultimate sunrise views over the sweeping horizon. Finally, as guests approach the expansive lanais that extend over the crystal clear waters, guests reach a front-row view of the Pacific.
