Voysey House Volume I brings the work of Arts & Crafts pioneer C.F.A. Voysey into contemporary interiors, combining archival patterns, modern colour palettes and British craftsmanship in a new wallpaper collection…
Morris & Co., part of the Sanderson Design Group, is inviting the industry to step into the world of C.F.A. Voysey with the launch of Voysey House Volume I.
The landmark wallpaper collection celebrates the enduring influence of the visionary architect and designer who, alongside William Morris, defined the soul of the Arts & Crafts movement.
The collection offers a sophisticated reimagining of C.F.A. Voysey’s unmistakable style. Known for his ability to blend whimsical charm with a disciplined, architectural structure, Voysey’s work remains as compelling today as it was at the turn of the 20th century. These designs bridge the gap between traditional and contemporary papers by exploring heritage through an unexpected lens.

True to the principles of the Arts & Crafts movement, this launch is built upon a foundation of exceptional craftsmanship and British heritage. Each design is developed at Voysey House – the Grade II* Morris & Co. studio is C.F.A. Voysey’s only commercial building and was originally constructed as a wallpaper factory in 1902.
Honouring this legacy, the patterns are brought to life at the brand’s historic Anstey factory using new digital printing methods. This commitment to artistic rigour ensures every roll possesses the rich texture and creative integrity synonymous with the Morris & Co. name.

Artfully translated with new base papers and metallic grounds, his nature-inspired drawings become a suite of recoloured and contemporised patterns. By balancing his signature flattened forms and rhythmic motifs with a fresh, modern palette, Morris & Co. has created a series of designs that feel both historically significant and current.
Playful and shimmering, his archival Dory fish has been reworked in an etched style with exquisite hand-drawn pen-and-ink techniques. River has been painted on papyrus paper to achieve a uniquely textured appearance.
Rebecca Craig, Head of Design at Morris & Co, said: “This collection reimagines the original designs of C.F.A. Voysey and adapts them for today’s interiors. We’ve taken the essence of his work – his stylised nature, narrative charm, and strong graphic structure – and refined it through contemporary scale, colour, and materials. It’s a visual crossroads between both heritage and modern wallpapers.”
