Our story

For more than 40 years, Coach House has imported and sold captivating, design-led, furniture and homewares throughout the UK and further afield. Having begun with humble origins in Yorkshire, we have grown to become one of the industry’s largest and most trusted trade-only names, and we are still a proud family run business.

Our extensive breadth of product is not confined to one style but rather reflects a myriad of diverse collections spanning from traditional to contemporary furniture, lighting, design-led accessories, artificial floral, Indian antiques and festive products. We believe that this is what makes Coach House an inspiring company to work with.

Our ambition

We continue to source the best products for the most economical prices throughout the world sourcing from ten different countries in Europe and Asia. Between our team of buyers, we aim to consistently inspire the designers, retailers, hoteliers and so forth, in the UK and beyond.

At Coach House we endeavour to push forward within the British homewares market, encourage innovation, and inspire those who buy from us.

We aim to be a company that our employees are proud of and our customers are loyal to, as well as providing the most compelling of buying experiences. Coach House aims to be at the forefront of the British furniture and home décor industry.

Our showrooms

Our showrooms demonstrate the beauty and breadth of what Coach House has to offer, with 40 individually styled rooms that hold our 10,000-strong product lines.

With a showroom size of approximately 30,000 square feet, our customers find that a trip to Lancashire is essential to the buying experience, and although we don’t always have the weather, the product on display and the northern hospitality should make the trip worthwhile. We hope to see you there soon – the kettle’s always on. Plan your visit: how to find us.

Our outdoor showrooms

Our landscaped garden area displays all our outdoor furniture ranges, stoneware and ornamental items. We welcome all trade clients to come and see for yourselves our vast range of product in situ. With the cash and carry service, you may even be able to take you purchases away that day.

Fun fact: People tell Sienna she gives off Bridget Jones vibes, and she loves to bake, always making sure there are shortbreads floating around the office

Work highlights: Sienna joined Forum Events & Media Group while studying Communications and Media, starting in the sales team where she managed and helped launch the first the PA Life Leading Venues of London SHOWCASE, where she built relationships with luxury venues across the capital. Drawn to the stories behind these spaces, she naturally transitioned into the editorial team, creating social media and editorial content. Upon graduating in June 2026, she is excited to be joining as Assistant Editor for Hotel Designs and SPACE.

During this time, she has worked across many aspects of the publication – from shaping editorial strategy and overseeing operations to contributing to art direction and representing the brand on stage at industry events including Surface Design Show and WOW!house.

Alongside her role at SPACE, Jess has built a creative career spanning the arts, culture, design and travel sectors. Prior to joining the magazine, she spent more than a decade in the commercial art industry, in artist liaison, gallery management, and curating collections for the hospitality sector across hotels and cruise ships. During this time, she also worked on freelance projects as a writer, photographer, and creative content producer.

Jess studied photojournalism at London College of Communication and the Danish School of Media and Journalism and holds a first-class BA (Hons) in Culture, Criticism and Curation from Central Saint Martins.
