Principal, Fiona Thompson is an award-winning designer and oversees all projects alongside fellow Directors and Associates, a team driven by a desire to design hotels that are authentic, intelligent and inspiring.
Richmond International has refurbished, restored and created in locations from London to Australia, from multinational brands to independent owners, in the process building a deep understanding of the impact design has on its surroundings. The practice has won awards and accolades with an attention to detail on every project, carefully tailoring each design to the location and the cultural setting.
Recent projects include working with the Langham, the original grand London hotel, as part of a major refurbishment before its 150th birthday. Richmond International transformed the interiors, added the Sterling Suite (the largest hotel suite in London) and created a new executive club lounge.
