One of the fastest growing extended-stay hotel companies in the United States, WoodSpring Suites, has announced an agreement to build the next WoodSpring Suites hotel in West Monroe, Louisiana.The 124-unit hotel will be first WoodSpring Suites located in the state and is expected to start construction in the first quarter of 2016.
Once completed, the hotel will feature guest amenities most associated with the long-stay setup – free high-speed internet, guest laundry facilities, in-room kitchens in each guestroom. These are all part of the brand’s “It’s Simple. Done Better” brand promise.
WoodSpring Hotels, which experienced record growth in 2014, is focused on strategic expansion across the US through corporate and franchise-owned development. The company expects to break ground on more than 30 additional properties over the next six months. Expansion plans scheduled for 2017 include the addition of corporate and franchised properties in major metropolitan markets such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Miami, Portland and Minneapolis.
