Announcement: Hotel Designs strengthens team with new appointment

Offering a warm welcome to the latest member of the team, Hotel Designs has announced Meghan Taylor as editorial assistant as she joins the brand at a pivotal moment in its history.

2024 has been a successful year for Hotel Designs following a number of positive changes, with this latest announcement following the team’s award win from SME News 2024 Business Elite Awards, as well as record numbers reached this summer for the brand’s website traffic, and another award nomination from the EN Indy Awards 2024.

Taylor’s appointment takes place with immediate effect, and with the remainder of 2024 looking set to be the busiest period of the year, it’s evident the team are keen to involve her in all aspects of the business. “We’ve a heavily packed few months ahead with trade shows, client events, not to mention The Brit List Awards ceremony, so her arrival comes at the perfect time,” commented Katy Phillips, Publisher, Hotel Designs. “Meg joins the Hotel Designs team on high recommendation. With her flare for design, and her passion for writing, we cannot wait to see what she brings to the role and to the brand.”

With events season upon us, there will be plenty of opportunities for the design community to meet the new recruit, who will be immersing herself in the industry to write profiles, news stories, and hotel reviews alongside Sophie Harper and Pauline Brettell, as well as offering support at events including The Brit List Awards 2024, taking place on 6^th November at Ministry of Sound.
