A £3.8 million redesign with Alex Kravetz Design swaps hotel grandeur for a more residential feel, with marble fireplaces, bespoke bars and a palette of blues, taupe and bronze…
The Landmark London has unveiled a redesigned collection of 48 Marylebone Suites, marking a new chapter for the five-star hotel. Created in collaboration with architecture studio Alex Kravetz Design (AKD), the spacious suites blend the building’s historic grandeur with a more contemporary, residential style.

The inspiration is the feel of an elegant London apartment. Classic details are balanced with modern touches, and generous living areas, marble-framed fireplaces and bespoke bars make the suites as suited to relaxing and entertaining as to sleeping. A tranquil palette of blues, taupe and neutral shades is layered with warm bronze accents, tailored upholstery and textured wall panelling. Soft lighting runs throughout, from the expansive living rooms to the bedroom retreats, easing the move from day to evening.

The investment, totalling £3.8 million, covers several suite styles. The 60 sqm Marylebone One Bedroom Suite has a separate living room with a statement fireplace, built-in bookcase and workspace. The Marylebone Junior Suite balances architectural detail with plush furnishings, blurring the line between hotel suite and private pied-à-terre. For families and groups, the Marylebone Family Suite pairs two double beds with a large living space and an Italian marble bathroom, with interconnecting rooms available.
Amenities include Dyson hair tools, ARGENTUM toiletries, Smart TVs with Sky and a fully stocked bar with Cartwright & Butler treats. Younger guests are catered for with toys, activities and teepees on request, and a warm cookie and milk turndown at bedtime.
