The Swissôtel Métropole in Geneva just completed a new phase of its renovation program including its large suites and conference rooms.Following the successful renovation of its Grand Quai restaurant last year, the hotel chose local designer Fiona Pont to renovate the accommodations and conference space.
The style is contemporary: an ‘urban chic’ design with different color schemes from black and grey to emerald green and shades of brown.
The Royal suite, located on the 4th floor, offers the most beautiful views over the lake and has been completely redesigned to include a bar, a dining area and a walk-in closet: the bedroom is nestled under the roof and the bathroom includes a Jacuzzi and tropical shower.
The conference rooms on the main floor also include a new decor but also some true technical improvements such as the sound system and the soundproofing in between rooms.
Half of the Premier city side rooms are also renovated following the same design and the Business and Junior suites should be refurbished by the end of the year.
