Continent Hotels and Resorts has signed its third hotel development and management agreement in Philippines. Construction of this luxury Condominium Resort will commence middle of this year, with completion expected August 2011. The partnership with Paradisya Land LLC represents an opportunity for Continent Hotels to enter the Philippines market and the current project is the third development project with Paradisya Land LLC.
The new Condominium Hotel will have 56 luxurious suites and will be named the Continent Fairways Resort. Owner of condominiums and future guests will have benefit of golf club membership as well.
Continent Hotels, managing director, Ethem Zagikyan said: “We can further confirm that we have reached advanced negotiations in Bulgaria and Russia and we can say that we are firmly placed for global expansion.”
Continent brand hotels are mid-scale to up-scale properties designed for the leisure, business and extended-stay traveler and consist of Continent Hotels, Continent Resorts., Continent Hotel and Suites, Continent Park Hotels, Continent Boutique and Continent Inn & Suites hotels.
Istanbul based Continent Hotel Management Ltd acquired the brand Management and Franchise Sales rights to the Continent brand in 2003 and full ownership in 2007. According to new development contracts, as of 2012, there will be 20 new Continent branded hotels open or under construction just in Russia.
The company gives consulting and project management services for new hotel developments and manages hotels under Continent brand or franchises the Continent or equity Continent brands. As of 2010, there are 6 projects under construction in Philippines, Russia and Bulgaria.
There are Continent branded properties in Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.
