As part of a sextet representing the ‘Best of British’, Morgan will once again exhibit at the globally influential ’Cruise Shipping Miami’ event from 16-19th March 2015.

Alongside Skopos, Brintons, Muraspec, Trimline and SMC Design on Stand 2201, Morgan will show a hand-picked selection of chairs, tables and bar stools from its original furniture portfolio that is ideally suited to the international cruise market. The latest launches on display will be from the Paris, Oslo and Pimlico collections. Combining classically inspired shapes with beautiful timber detailing, Paris chairs are available with three different back treatments: a traditional wave shaped top edge, a handle shaped showwood top detail and a large curved back. Each distinctive design has a classic contemporary feel that is timeless; perfect for dining, meeting or as an elegant side chair.

In late 2014, the Morgan Studio unveiled a new Tables Collection to complement existing original seating collections. Characterised by freeform shapes and a delicate organic structure, the designs in walnut and oak subtly reference the style of the 1950’s. Oslo combines handcrafted skill with computer aided manufacture to create elegant, softly curved designs. The collection offers a pebble shaped coffee table with three legs and a side table. A new storm edge top detail is also offered.

The Pimlico compact lounge chair was awarded a Design Guild Mark in 2014. Designed by the Morgan Studio, it features smooth curved lines with a unique inset oval seat pad which is wrapped by the frame. A new high back version has just been launched keeping the oval seat but adding a left and right high back to create a pair.

The collection is versatile for bedroom, lounge or bar within a diverse range of interior schemes whether contemporary or classic.

The cruise sector is a highly successful market for Morgan thanks to their ability to apply the Marine Quality Mark to produce attractive and practical furniture pieces of unsurpassed quality which fully conform to Marine Contract standards and IMO for upholstery materials.

Morgan is recognised for its exemplary eco-credentials, a fact independently endorsed by the ISO14001 environmental standard. All products are manufactured in a low energy consuming factory, using sustainable FSC timber, top quality CMHR foams and non rusting fittings.
