Boutique hotels are still as trendy as they used to be when they started appearing all over the country a couple of decades ago. Although the bulk of our hotel business comes from bigger chains, we tend to regularly work with individual Boutique hotels as well, supplying furniture as full of character as the establishments themselves. What really differentiates the boutique hotel from an ordinary small hotel is its design-led individuality and style. The design schemes are often unique and aimed at delivering once in a lifetime experience for the guests. Interior design and furniture specifically is an invaluable medium for communicating the original character of a particular hotel and this is exactly the kind of challenge we are happy to take on.

Our hotel division has recently supplied a number of distinct boutique hotels around the country with original furniture and we would like to share some of the treasures with you.

The Old Stocks Inn nestled in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire has recently undergone a top-to-toe refurbishment bringing together the 17th-century charm, modern-day luxury and a passion for great hospitality. We have supplied a full range of furniture for both indoor and outdoor areas.

The Manor at Sway is a modern country house hotel set in a beautiful Edwardian mansion. Located in the New Forest National Park, the recent refurbishment has seen all the communal areas, restaurant and reception renovated with our furniture, setting the character throughout.

The Lugger Hotel – recently named “Best Seaside Hotel” by the Sunday Times – sits right on the waterfront in the centre of the delightful village Portloe in Cornwall. The eclectic mix of furniture supplied by The Contract Chair Company for the latest refurbishment is represented by the below photographs.
