ØTHERS is a dual-sensory, ‘welltech’ product that allows spaces to adapt the mood of their environment using scent and sound to functionally influence the guest states of mind. The experience translates functional scent into its sonic equivalent; a sensory tuning tool controlled via an app for creating the most optimal ambiance for any room desired.

Contrary to aromatherapy, aromachology takes a more scientific approach examining which psychological reactions are caused by which fragrance and why. This new generation of ‘functional fragrances’ can help guests reach states on demand such as relaxation upon arrival, decompression before sleep and focused states ahead of conferences.

So far, following extensive neuroscientific research, ØTHERS have developed two scents in collaboration with world-leading fragrance expert, Givaudan, who has more than 30 years’ experience exploring the relationship between scent and emotion.

OTHERS’ mood fragrance is created using psychological and neuroscientific measurements with advanced fragrance technology to deliver both a relaxed and focused mood state.
