Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is delighted to announce the latest project in the group’s expanding portfolio in the island country of Fiji and will feature 24 spacious pool villas and 66 residential villas situated on the west side of the island.

Known for its idyllic crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, thick tropical forests and excellent climate, Six Senses Fiji is located on a superb beach site on Fiji’s Malolo Island. Six Senses Fiji will feature 24 spacious pool villas ranging in size from 800 square feet to 1,950 square feet and 66 residential villas situated on the west side of the island. The resort is located along a private sandy beach that stretches 2,100 feet.

The property will include a restaurant and bar plus a wine cellar and tasting table. Locally inspired and sustainably sourced, the resort’s cuisine will feature ingredients gathered from the resort garden, local farmers, markets and fishermen.

Sustainability lives at the foundation of this Six Senses project and will be reflected within the resort through active management of energy, water, waste, biodiversity, purchasing and chemical usage.

The resort will be 100 percent solar powered and the first microgrid in Fiji to use Tesla batteries. In addition, a worm-based septic system is planned as well as water reservoirs for grey and rainwater which avoids the need for a desalination plant. The project includes tree reforestation on site to offset wood use in construction. The resort will feature all LED lights to ensure the highest levels in LED efficiency.

Six Senses Fiji is slated to open late 2017. Easy access is available from Nadi International Airport, a 30-minute journey by boat from Denaadaru Marina, 30-minute helicopter flight or 20-minute seaplane flight.
